Bank Holidays:
The studio will be closed on any Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday that falls on a bank holiday. We do not reschedule missed days due to bank holidays, so please plan your studio time accordingly.
Storage and Space Management:
Due to limited space, items left on the Work in Progress and Ready for Glazing shelves for more than 2 weeks will be discarded.
Damage Responsibility
Members are responsible for any kiln damage caused by improperly prepared work. Charges include €40 per damaged kiln shelf.
If you are unsure about proper glaze application, please ask a studio technician for guidance or provide a clay cookie to be placed under your work during firing.
Clay and Materials:
-
Clay is available for purchase by members only. Only studio clay may be used for work intended for firing.
-
Glazes are included in the membership. Proper application is required to avoid kiln damage. You are welcome to use your own glazes. Please note that responsibility for glaze behaviour during firing rests with the maker. All studio clay and firings are carried out at Cone 6.

A range of communal tools is available for shared use. Members are encouraged to build their own personal tool collection over time.
